Las Vegas isn't usually known for technology, unless you're talking about slot machines and security cameras. But last weekend, tech enthusiasts from around the globe flocked to Sin City for the Consumer Electronics Show, where a revolutionary new video conferencing device was unveiled: the HoverCam Neo.

Pathway Innovations and Technology, manufacturers of the device, introduced a new series of three HoverCam Neo OfficeCam products, each combining the functions of a scanner, a video conferencing camera and a document camera into one product. The devices, which are also designed to be user-friendly for the visually impaired, are meant to help increase office productivity and bring video conferencing technology even closer to real face-to-face meetings.

The three HoverCam Neos vary in their speed and image quality, but they each offer full-motion 1080p video conferencing in a package small enough to fit on any worker's desk. They also offer scanning and picture-taking abilities that make sharing information over video conference easier than ever before.

The Consumer Electronics Show, which took place between January 6 and January 9, 2011, featured celebrity appearances, awards and conferences, in addition to product unveilings.
