Small business owners can learn how to lower their tax bills, choose tax preparers and gauge potential vulnerabilities by taking advantage of free webinars hosted by government agencies. The IRS, National Federation of Independent businesses and U.S. Small Business Administration sponsor webinars that small business owners can watch from their home or office.

The IRS recently hosted a "Small Business Tax Compliance" webinar to teach small business owners and those who are self-employed useful approaches to compliance and working with tax professionals.

Small business owners can gain important tax knowledge through webinars hosted by the NFIB such as "Tax Planning 2012: Get a Head Start on the New Year by Getting Your 2011 Taxes Right" in which they discuss how organizations can get the lowest possible tax bill.

The SBA is offering monthly seminars on "Small Business Disaster Preparedness" so business owners can identify potential vulnerabilities, learn to analyze risks and plan a recovery. Small businesses can learn from the experts and potentially participate in the discussion by investing in web conferencing solutions.
